Brazeau Snowmobile Club Trails Mar 28, 2003 to Dec 31, 2009
Operated by the Brazeau Snowmobile Club, the staging area boasts scenic groomed 40 & 80 mile loops crossing the Pembina River. The Brazeau Snowmobile Club hosts a number of annual events including grass and snow drags, a Santa's Anonymous run in December, Poker Rallies and a Family Day ride.
Drayton Valley Golf & Country Club Mar 28, 2003 to Dec 31, 2009
The Drayton Valley Golf Course is an 18 hole course with a Par 71. There is a full-time pro on site at the Pro Shop who would be quite happy to give you pointers and help you with your game. The Drayton Valley Golf Course features a practice putt, licensed restaurant, and rentals.
Drayton Valley Omniplex Mar 28, 2003 to Dec 31, 2009
The Omniplex encompasses three multi-purpose facilities, all under one roof. Located in the heart of Lions West Valley Park, the Omniplex is surrounded by six ball diamonds, a soccer field, rodeo grounds, a beautiful day use park and a 55 site full service RV Park. The Omniplex is the pride of our community, with two multi-purpose ice arena/show pads, a state-of-the-art six-sheet curling facility, lounge, fitness club, walking track and raquetball courts. The Omniplex is the year-round venue, not only to hockey tournaments and bonspiels, but agriculture fairs, horse shows, rodeos, concerts and trade shows. It is a versatile complex that will accommodate meetings from 20 right up to functions for hundreds.
Drayton Valley Ski Hill Mar 28, 2003 to Dec 31, 2009
The Drayton Valley Ski Hill offers downhill skiing and snowboarding. With a T-Bar and 2 tow ropes, rentals and a fully stocked clubhouse, the ski hill is a buzz of activity on winter days. Located 3.0 km north of Drayton Valley on Highway 22, then 3.0 km east and 1.0 km south (follow signs).
Drayton Valley Thunder Mar 28, 2005 to Dec 31, 2009
The Drayton Valley Thunder joined the Alberta Junior A Hockey League in the 1998-99 season. By the 2001-2002 season, they finished in second place in the North Division, beat two other teams in four games straight, and won the League Championship. The 2002 League MVPs for the playoffs were all from the Thunder, and Jade Galbraith was named League Scoring Champion. The Thunder play out of the Drayton Valley Omniplex from September to February.
Evergreen Shooting Club Mar 28, 2003 to Dec 31, 2009
The shooting range is located near the North Saskatchewan River about 8 km southeast of Drayton Valley. The club features 2 covered lines; one over the 100 yd handgun/smallbore range, the other over the 200 yd bigbore range. The club also shoots traps every Tuesday during the summer months at a member's farm near Easyford, northwest of Drayton Valley. Annual events includes the Shooting Sports Challenge in May, and the Rifle Rodeo. The Evergreen Shooting Club also hosts a Gun and Sports Show each spring.

Edmonton’s Space and Science Center reborn, has four new mind-boggling galleries. Take a walk through the human body in the Body Fantastic, solve a mystery in Mystery Avenue, gain a deeper understanding of Mother Nature in the Green’s House and explore space in every dimension in Space Place. Two other attractions are the Margaret Zeidler Star Theatre, which houses the largest planetarium dome in Canada and Western Canada’s first IMAX theatre, which places viewers at the center of the action.
Riverside Horse Trails Mar 28, 2003 to Dec 31, 2009
A relaxing and ideal method of getting away from it all is trail riding. There are a few outfitters in the area who would be pleased to take you on a customized horseback tour, and offer a wonderful opportunity for the photographer or video enthusiast, who might want to take in some of the beautiful scenery in Brazeau Country. The Riverside Trails, operated by the Drayton Valley Horse Club, are groomed riding trails that meander along the banks of the Pembina River and through meadows of wildflowers. A staging area and campsite are also available. Monthly meetings of the Drayton Valley Horse Club are held on the first Tuesday of each month. The annual Trail Ride for Cancer is held on the first Sunday in May, and on the third Sunday of June, the Drayton Valley Horse Club hosts the annual Horse Show.

This gallery has an extensive collection of over 5000 works of art. Exhibitions show a balance of historical and contemporary works by regional, national and international arts. Visit the Interactive Children’s Gallery, the large Art Rental and Sales Gallery and the delightful Gallery Shop and coffee bar. The Gallery is located on the corner of 99 Street and 102A Avenue, across from City Hall.
The Provincial Museum of Alberta Mar 28, 2003 to Dec 31, 2009
One of Canada’s five most popular museums, regularly attracts more than 300000 visitors each year. The museum’s permanent exhibitions include the internationally acclaimed Syncrude Gallery of Aboriginal Culture. The museum in not only dedicated to entertainment and educating its visitors, but also to its responsibility of collecting, documenting, preserving and interpreting the material evidence of Alberta’s human and natural history.
